Localization Management Leader Builds Go-to-Market Strength, Paving the Way for Accelerated Growth and Customer Impact
“Cloudwords has experienced tremendous growth and success in the past year. With David and Heidi on board, we’re adding experienced, accomplished executives to further solidify our position as the leading online application provider helping companies automate, optimize and analyze their content localization process,” said Cloudwords CEO and Co-founder, Scott Yancey.
As Vice President of Sales, Eads brings to Cloudwords his extensive experience at SaaS and Unified Communications companies building direct and channel sales programs to accelerate and amplify revenue growth. Eads has deep expertise serving customers responsible for marketing, product and customer experience within the enterprise technology market. Prior to Cloudwords, Eads held leadership positions at Wayport Inc. (acquired by AWE), as well as Vice President of Sales roles at Fonality Inc. and PanTerra Networks Inc. In his most recent role as VP of Sales at MindTouch Inc., his team drove global enterprise sales within customers like HP, Intel, EMC, HTC and Autodesk. His success building scalable, highly productive sales channels will serve Cloudwords’ rapidly growing customer base.
“There is a significant, untapped market in the translation management industry and a huge demand exists for innovative technologies that improve efficiencies. Cloudwords meets and exceeds that demand by cutting localization costs and timelines in half, or better, and I’m excited to be part of the team that will further accelerate our growth in this market,” remarked Eads.
Responsible for accelerating the growth, visibility, and value of Cloudwords through high-impact marketing, Chief Marketing Officer Heidi Lorenzen brings 25 years of global marketing experience to the company, having spent more than a decade working overseas in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Germany, and Singapore. Prior to joining Cloudwords, Lorenzen held global marketing leadership roles at technology trailblazers Polycom, Interwoven, Autonomy, and GlobalEnglish, among others. At Cloudwords, Lorenzen will lead marketing initiatives worldwide including branding, customer acquisition and product marketing to create new go-to-market scale for the company.
“Having spent my career focused on better engaging customers worldwide and delivering global revenue faster, I’m excited to help bring a much-needed transformation to today’s unwieldy, costly and slow approaches to content localization. Content creation for websites, social media, customer collateral, marketing outreach, thought leadership – and more – is exploding worldwide, and current localization processes are stalling its impact,” said Lorenzen. “Together with the Cloudwords team, and our many visionary customers, I look forward to helping change that.”
