New Customer Growth More Than Doubles and Revenue Growth Triples Following a Year of New Product Capabilities and Native Integrations with Leading Marketing Technologies

San Francisco, January 22, 2015-Cloudwords, the leader in cloud-based translation management and automation, announces strong growth and company momentum entering 2015 with a record 225% growth in annual revenue and closing Q4 with the largest increase in quarterly revenue in company history. Cloudwords achieved an impressive 130% growth in new customers in 2014, adding leading companies in the fourth quarter to its roster, including Aruba Networks, Belden, Cornerstone OnDemand, Mouser Electronics, OANDA Corporation, Qualtrics, Rapid7, Siemens PLM Software, and Websense, as well as grew revenue within the existing customer base by nearly 300% following increased customer engagement and adoption. Cloudwords' accelerated growth is driven by increased demand among global organizations for a better approach to manage, accelerate, and simplify their complex localization demands.

Cloudwords' growth has also been driven by an impressive four new technology integrations with leading marketing automation, content management, and Web CMS platforms in 2014, including Oracle Marketing Cloud's Oracle Eloqua, as well as Oracle Web Center Sites, Oracle Web Center Content, and Sitecore. These integrations followed Cloudwords' highly successful integration with marketing software leader Marketo and web content management leaders Adobe Experience Manager and Drupal in 2013. The company will deliver additional platform integrations in 2015 to make the localization of marketing content even easier for globally focused enterprise organizations.

"Most companies are still managing the localization process using outdated technologies and processes that hinder their ability to reach multilingual audiences at the speed required by today's digital global marketplace. Cloudwords' success is credited to our development of a new, smarter approach to localization management that helps organizations increase the speed and ease of globalizing content so they can take their message and solutions worldwide for greater growth," said Scott Yancey, CEO and co-founder of Cloudwords.

Yancey continued, "As we move into 2015, we'll continue to deliver enhanced product and integration capabilities to optimize our customers' localization productivity and effectiveness to help them achieve or exceed the revenue and customer engagement growth targets they seek. To put it simply, to win in today's globally connected world, you need a technology platform that helps you communicate around the globe at the speed of now... Cloudwords is the only platform that delivers on this promise."

Using Cloudwords' marketing globalization platform, in 2014 customers managed tens of thousands of localization and translation projects; translated content into more than 100 languages; delivered localized marketing messages to every region in the world; and safely stored hundreds of millions of localized phrases and sentences in Cloudwords' OneTM database.

In addition to marketing technology partner integrations in 2014, Cloudwords introduced new product capabilities and platform enhancements to its end-to-end marketing globalization platform to further accelerate the process of content localization, including:

  • Advanced workflow customization for enterprise customers
  • Option to use machine translation capability
  • Modern, easy-to-use user interface
  • Interactive project dashboard for enhanced project management
  • Campaign Manager marketing solution to execute and manage multi-channel, multi-system, global content initiatives
  • OneReview capability to accelerate and simplify the translation review process; and
  • Translation support of Dynamic Content to market to different customer segments in Marketo and Eloqua using a single campaign

The company moved to larger headquarters in San Francisco and expanded its leadership bench with the addition of Tom Cameron as Chief Revenue Officer and Tim Maloney as VP, Worldwide Channel Sales and Alliances. Following its unprecedented growth, Cloudwords will continue to expand its employee roster with plans to build the team.

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English.
