Cloudwords Hires Top Marketing and Localization Industry Experts from Marketo and Microsoft

Company reports 100% employee growth in 2016 and announces it has been named on the EContent 100 list of companies that matter most in the digital content industry.

San Francisco, CA, November 15, 2016 - Cloudwords announced today it has doubled its employee roster in 2016 and hired top talent with deep experience in the global marketing and localization industries with the addition of Sam Pederson and Scott Schwalbach. Cloudwords also announced it has been named for the third consecutive year on the EContent 100 list of companies that matter most in the digital content industry. The company continues to gain traction as a solution for enterprise organizations to deliver marketing campaigns and localized content to international regions with increased speed, efficiency and scale.

Having recently won several new enterprise accounts and contract renewals, Cloudwords has grown its sales, marketing, and product development teams. Its newest key hires include Sam Pederson, Vice President of Growth Strategy and Partnerships, and Scott Schwalbach, Senior Customer Advocate.

As part of Cloudwords’ growing sales, marketing and partnership team, Sam Pederson will work with existing and new customers on their path to digital transformation in global marketing, as well as in the marketing partner ecosystem. Sam is an experienced leader in demand generation and marketing operations in the global technology industry, and has led teams and initiatives in global marketing and sales at Marketo, Sun Microsystems, Oracle, and Kaspersky Lab, among others.

In his new role, Scott Schwalbach will manage customer and partner relationships at Cloudwords. Scott has more than 40 years of experience as an operations, localization and globalization leader, working for and with some of the largest companies in the world, including 17 years at Microsoft as an International Program Manager. A recognized localization industry expert, Scott is a co-leader for the Localization Unconference, frequently speaks at industry events, and teaches courses in global communications and customer expectations.
